Butai Sanzoku by justinwongart Butai Sanzoku by justinwongart
Sketch of a team.  The big dood in the back is the muscle, the two in the midground are twins, both assassins of different weapon specialties.  The shrimp in front  is the daughter of a swordsman who developed a unmatched sword art technique.

A horse a day keeps the doctor and just about every other human from getting in your way. This is a great concept, Justin!

Do You write fanfics? if not get in contact with one and make a story for this. People would LOVE that. My mind is blown like all the other people who see this. You wanna know what you see when you open a dictionary looking for "epic" this is what you see. But can we see this in color?

I don't write fan fics but I would like to eventually develop my own story for a project, big or small.  Thanks for the awesome compliment Mushroomer13.  I wasn't planning on taking this one to color, but I am getting some ideas on how i can take this one a little further.

I may seem scatterbrained sorry but here is a idea. If you make a story for this, don't and for all reasons don't have them fight ninjas or more samurai. It is too common but alright.
When you make a enemy make sure they
1. Have purpose. People don't really like stories if the villian does not live up to the hero. Look at James Bond esc villians or the avengers villians, they had purpose.
2.be unsuspected. Samurai vs. ninja or samurai is used too often
3. Be likable. People like to like villains, make them acceptable.

Thanks for the tips! From my little research I have done on story telling I think it important to think of your villains motives as plausible motives, instead of "I'm doing this because I am EVIL!" This helps make the story more interesting and complicated than good guy vs bad guy.  From the villains perspective they are acting on what they think is right, or don't see any other choice other than what they are doing.  The whole samurai vs ninja thing is a trope I hope to stay away from as a main plot just in general.  As of right now I don't have actual names for them but I have given them temporary nick names.  The Muscle, the Precision, the Reckless, the Professional.  Oh and yea those are most definitely birds on his shoulder. :D

Have you ever seen Austin powers ? The main villian was hilarious and he was all like " I am doing this because it is the family business and because uh why not"

Joke aside what kinda villian are you trying to make (don't tell me I want a surprise)(I believe asking questions makes story tellers think before they do anything and that is good, it gets the gears turning) are you trying to make a narrative villian

a villian with purpose and personality that people can see as a character worth sympathy and maybe even routing for
Ex James bonds villians
or a force of nature
a villian who instead of being a character worth sympathy they instead force the heroes to look at themselves
Ex the joker

Can you tell us their names. By the way the guy in the back is my favorite And please tell me that those birds on his shoulder are his pets, that would be soo cute. I remember that when someone walked into the hulks room it was full of glass figures and that kinda stuff , big tough guys have soft hearts, never gets old.

but I see a problem with the big dude. He is a samurai which means he is fast but wouldn't that be OP. But if he is slow than he falls under the usual big slow guy idea. So is he as fast as fast as a normal samurai but everyone else is just really fast. Watch attack on Titan to see my question.
